Quite a while back I had my neighbor Karen keep my kids while I went visiting teaching. Hafen learned about fort building there. For some reason I had not taught Hafen about the fine design of fort building, but he decided they were quite cool and has continued building them since. This is quite ok with me. It is one of the few things that keep Hafen busy for over 30 minutes. (One of the others is hiding in the tall laundry basket with a blanket over it!) Anyhow, Saturday I was busy preparing some stuff in the kitchen and saw the boys under quite a nice sized fort. They had fun playing in it all morning. I went in to take a picture and caught them. I almost suggested taking a nap under the fort, but thought better of it, since I know Hafen would think that would be great every day!
The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience. -- Eleanor Roosevelt
