So I really had a good time this Thanksgiving. We stayed here and ate with Cory's family and had a great time visiting. Hafen and Hudson sure enjoy having time with the cousins. Cory's sister Vera got here the previous Saturday. She is single and does not have children. The first thing Hafen says to her is, "where's my friends" in which Vera replied, "I didn't bring any" and Hafen began bawling. Vera soon became his friend and he had a great time with Aunt Vera most of the week. For dinner I got to take pies, a turkey, and made a relish tray. Thanksgiving evening the girls of the family, only those over the age of 3 were allowed, got together for a little craft and snacks. So I made pumpkin dip, chocolate chip cheese ball, and truffles(you can check smithalicious for recipes). I love to cook and bake, so I had a great time last week. Although if you check my next blog, you will notice that I also had a great time eating it all and gaining weight. I went to the gym on Monday morning after 4 days off, and about threw up when I was running. I haven't ever felt like throwing up from running before. At least I can say I have had a new experience!

After doing our craft on Thursday night, I decided to get some of my unfinished crafts done, so Friday and Saturday I worked on a couple. It was nice just to do something crafty again. One of the crafts was "joy" made from wood that I have been packing around for about 5 years. Yes it was a super saturday that long ago. I don't know why I haven't done anything with it before now. I painted it white and threw some craft glitter on it. It turned out way cute, although the pictures don't really show that!
Sorry no pics of Thanksgiving. I didn't take any. Maybe I will get some from my in-laws to post later.
