I did it!!!
At the end of October I (Cory) took the first of my two tests to become a Professional land Surveyor. The test was broken down into two four hour sections with an hour break in-between for lunch. For those of you who don’t want to do the math that is eight hours of testing in one day. At the end of the day I was more than a little brain dead and extremely worried that I hadn’t done very well. Well finally last week I received the results back. I PASSED. To tell you the truth I was a little surprised but much relived not to have to take it again. Now all I have to do is finish school and I will be ready to sit for the second test which is a six hour national test and a two hour state specific test. Below is a picture of the card they sent me to put in my wallet. They will be sending a bigger certificate in February. So now I am a registered Land Survey Intern in Nevada.
