I know this is a month late but I have been busy. Last month I (Cory) went with my Grandpa Smith, Dad, son Hafen, brother Alma, brother in laws Joe, Andrew, and Jeff and nephews Tyler and Keagen to a guys weekend. There was lots of fishing, eating, fishing, cannoning, fishing, passing gas, fishing, visiting, and oh yeah fishing. We went up to Kent’s Lake east of Beaver. We all got there Thursday night. I was able to get a little fishing in Thursday while dinner was being made and almost caught my limit in about half an hour so we had to eat those fish as well so I could participate in the fishing competition. Friday we started the fishing competition were we fought for largest fish, last fish, and ugliest fish caught. About a half hour after we all started fishing Tyler screamed across the lake that he had the largest fish and that he was going to win, we had a day and a half left. We all thought we would be able to beat him but he was able to hold us all off until about two hours before the end of the fish off where Tyler despite not fishing for most of the competition sealed the deal and caught a bigger fish. Dang you Tyler. Andrew caught the last fish and Joe caught the ugliest fish. Andrew had a uglier one but because he already had a prize it went to Joe. Friday night a couple of us headed down to Beaver to get some ice cream for my Dads surprise birthday party we had for him. We had root beer floats made with fresh A&W root beer Alma picked up on his way to the campout. Saturday we fish half the day ending the fishing competition at 12 noon then headed for home smelling like fish and campfire to the delight of our wife’s. The fishing competition got very completive with lots of cheer picking, having two poles in (one for my son), and threats to sabotage other people's fishing gear (but don't worry Joe I won't mention you name) I was close to having the biggest fish a couple times but never grabbed it away from Tyler. The Guys did a lot of fishing except Dad and Jeff who for some reason went for books in stead of fishing and the kids got lots of play time in. I know there is a lot of pictures, I started to weed them out but decided I didn't want to get rid of any of them so you all will have to suffer through it. For those of you how were there fill free to post comments about it so we can share more memories but remember what happens on the lake stays on the lake.
The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience. -- Eleanor Roosevelt

I guess the ugliest person gets the ugliest fish?!!!
Vera it's not nice to call Andrew ugly
Cory
I was talking about the person who got the award, not Andrew!
So where are the pictures of the ugliest fish? I'm curious
Sorry Tessa I don't think we took any pictures of the ugliest fish.
