A Nice Day

Today was a good day! It was raining today. It started about 4 this morning and drizzled off and on for the morning and a good part of the Afternoon. I love rain, so for me it was a good start to a nice day. Rain has a distinct smell and I love it! I also love the way the rain emphasizes the beautiful colors of the world around me.
Cory, Hafen and I cleaned up most of the house, which was a big chore due to the fact we just got our closet up. Yes I know, we have been in the house a Month almost and we have barely hung our clothing up. Until now, the suitcase was the closet, and not a very efficient one either. I am sure you all could imagine.

Anyhow, getting back to the good stuff... It was nice to actually clean up and have help at it. Hafen helped do dishes and helped pick up our room. He had fun riding his horsey (a coat hanger!) and sleeping, "I sleep in basket, mom" (pretend sleep with snoring) in the laundry basket.
Hudson did so well. He is a very patient baby even though he is teething. Yes Brenda, I said teething (for those of you who don't know Keegan, he didn't get teeth until he was 1). Hudson has 2 teeth on the bottom that have come through and 2 trying to come down from the top any day, plus a couple more that you can tell are getting ready. He is very drooly. I don't remember Hafen being this drooly. Hudson is so funny. He likes to be talked to like any baby does, but he does this little tilt of his head that makes one wonder if he is going to be a bit shy. I absolutely love it.
The boys and I also went for a walk to the store after the rain stopped. Cory stayed home to do school work. You know, it was a normal Saturday. I haven't had one of those in a long time. I really enjoyed it.
